Burnt Capacitor City Beach

One of our customers in City Beach was reporting low pressure on his garden bore

We sent our reticulation guy who said it is popping the overload and it was working when he first got there,

So we sent our electrician who found the capacitor in the start box had melted as you can see in this picture.

Burnt Capacitor

So he swapped the capacitor and the relay and all is working.

Can I get a tap for my Garden Bore?

If you have a submersible garden water bore in the Perth Metropolitan area, we can install a tap off your bore. A tap from a water bore commonly has very high volume that is good for hand watering.

Jean had a tap fitted to her garden bore and was very pleased with the results

If you would like to find our more about getting a tap fitted to your garden bore in the Perth and Peel region call 9246 0111 and we will run you through what is involved.

Water Bores Perth

Virgin Water Bores love looking after their customers and love 5 Star reviews.

Five Star Google Review

“The team at Virgin Bores were simply fantastic and good people to deal with.

From David, who made the quote process painless and kept us informed along the way, to the drilling crews and Craig the electrician – they are genuine people who care about their work and obviously felt a lot of loyalty and respect for the company. When things got a little stressful towards the end, Troy came through with great communication and responsiveness.

Highly recommend this family feel company”

Drilling Rig Perth

Drilling new Water Bore Perth

Green access lids at the top of submersible water bores.

We drill modern submersible water bores in the Perth metro area from 18 metres and as deep as 40 metres.

Drilling the submersible water bore normally takes about a day and as you see here the top of the bore is covered by a green access lid just surface level of the ground so it can then be covered by lawn. Invisible!

We can also drill in a driveway and cover.

Important to keep a record of where the water bore is located just in case it needs repair in the future.

Automate Old Bore Perth

We are presently automating the reticulation systems in two adjacent Duncraig homes.

They share an old style bore which had been operated by a manual switch. So far we have installed a separate automatic reticulation controller on each property and are replacing the old manual gate valves with automatic solenoid valves (3 solenoids on one property and 5 on the other).

The retic system at one house hadn’t been used for 20 years so fingers crossed when we give it a well overdue service and some TLC!

We are up for a challenge,

If you need help automating your old style well or modern submersible water bore call Troy on 9246 0111.

Can I automate my existing water bore & reticulation?

Existing manual bores or reticulation systems operated by on/off switches and gate valves can be a hassle. It is easy to automate the system taking the hassle out of juggling operation times.

Virgin Bores will supply and install a reticulation controller that will turn off your bore automatically. Automatically operated solenoid valves can replace manually operated gate valves. Compliance with your Perth rostered sprinkler watering days is then automatic.

More info on bore automation is found here. To have your sprinklers turn on automatically call Troy on 9246 0111

Water Bore Ellenbrook

Ellenbrook is a northeastern suburb of Perth about 20 km from the CBD in the City of Sean. Ellenbrook, and its neighbouring suburbs of The Vines and Aveley are a significant distance from neighbouring suburbs (thanks Wikipedia)

One of our drillers Ben used the trailer mounted rig on this modern submersible water bore in Ellenbrook. It was a 30 metre drill with static groundwater level at about 14m as expected.

A .75 Kw Submersible pump was used as it suited the existing retic with power to spare. 😃

If you have been considering a modern submersible water bore in Ellenbrook, Aveley or The Vines call us on 9246 0111.

Can I have a garden tap with my submersible water bore?

Most commonly Perth water bores are connected to the clients existing reticulation. We are able to install a manual tap if requested. The bore tap is usually high pressure and can be used for hand watering and numbers of other things.

People need to realise its only irrigation quality water, not “tap” drinking quality water from the scheme.

Handy bore tap

Can I have a tap from my bore? Sure you can.

We have installed 2 bore taps this week.

Above, Tom installed a brass tap and pressure release valve to this new 22 metre deep submersible bore we just drilled in Morley.

Tom also installed another one to this new 29 metre submersible bore we just completed in Quinns Rocks(above). We install a larger than normal tap to fit a bigger 20mm hose to accommodate the extra flow from a bore.

If we can help you call us on 9246 0111.
