Bore Pump Repair Nedlands

Today we replaced a two wire bore pump motor for a customer in Nedlands after they phoned  our service line 9246 0111. Their modern submersible water bore was not working.

Our specialist bore electrician inspected the junction box at the top of the submersible bore which contained the two wire pump motor in Nedlands and diagnosed a ruptured internal capacitor.

We have now replaced the submersible bore pump motor and all is working again.

Gear-drive sprinklers for bore 

A great sprinkler to use with a water bore to irrigate large areas of lawn is a gear drive sprinkler.

A gear drive sprinkler or rotors are economical, low maintenance and are quiet when in operation.

Shown here there are 6 gear-drive sprinklers coupled to a 1.5 KW submersible pump. When fed from a water bore these gear drives are ideal for large properties such as this 2.5 acre property in the Perth suburb of Two Rocks.

Reticulation system Upper Swan

 

It puts a smile on our face to finally turn on the 4,000 square metres of irrigation we have just installed around this house in Upper Swan.
Gear drive sprinklers are covering the lawn nicely. This is all part of a much larger property. We have installed a 1.5 kw submersible pump in the recently drilled eight inch bore operated by float switches this fills a near-by 12,000 gallon tank.

Pumping from the tank to the irrigation system we have installed a Grundfos Vertical multistage 4KW centrifugal pump. The pump has amazing grunt to pump to the far paddocks and horse troughs and is run by a convential reticulation controller.

We are automating an old bore in the southern Perth suburb of Shoalwater.

As pictured it is an old style well with a tin lid.

The sprinkler system is currently manually operated with five inground gate valves. This is common with these older style Perth water bores.

We will replace manual valves with 24  V solenoid valves which will be wired into a new reticulation controller. Our electrician will do the interface to start the bore automatically via a 24 V relay.

New Water Bore Carine

Today we visited a new customer in the northern suburb of Carine. Their home is in a lovely cul de sac and they wanted to talk to us about a water bore in time for this summer.

We recommend a 26 metre bore for their Carine house.  The borehole would be drilled through Tamala limestone and the bore would be air developed or reverse flushed prior to installing the pump.

Our drilling teams have done many water bores in Carine and the surrounding areas of Karrinyup, Trigg and North Beach. In fact after 17 years in business this will be the fourth water bore we have done in this Carine street.

We sent a customer in Tuart Hill a quote several months ago for a new water bore at his home in Tuart Hill.

He kept the quote and recently contacted us asking if the quote was still current. We attended on site to discuss where we would drill and cut in to  exsisting reticulation.

The ground conditions call for a 39 metre bore. Water bearing ground is around 27 metres deep and we will drill 12 metres into water.

Water bores in Two Rocks

We have vast experience in drilling and servicing water bores in the Two Rocks area and surrounds over the last two decades.

We have drilled dozens of bores stretching from Yanchep and Two Rocks across to Seatrees Estate and  Breakwater Estate. Bores in the area range from some shallow ones right near the coast at Yanchep and Two Rocks typically around 18 metres and up to 60 metres further inland near Seatrees Estate and Breakwater Estate.

In the smaller residential blocks in Two Rocks we normally install 1.1kw submersible pumps perfect for normal home gardens. In the 5 acre blocks over at Seatrees and Breakwater we would normally instal a 1.5 or 2.2 kw pump to give closer to 150 litres per minute.

We have drilled a lot of successful water bores in the Mount Lawley area over the years and we know the area well.

Next week we will drill another water bore in Mount Lawley itself right on the hill. The water bore is an important part of  new landscaping at the property.

The start of water bearing ground at this Mount Lawley property is around 26.8 metres below ground.  We will drill to 39 metres, 12 metres below the water table to help ensure optimal supply.

New submersible water bore Watermans Bay

In May 2015 John rang us for a quote for a submersible water bore at a vacant block he had bought in Watermans Bay.

It is a lovely suburb sandwiched between the beautiful coastal suburbs of North Beach and Marmion and some pretty special sunsets.

Over two years later we are now drilling John his modern submersible water bore. We will be drilling a 30 metre submersible water bore based on the Department of Water data base. This should ensure optimal water quality for the coastal bore.
