We sent a customer in Tuart Hill a quote several months ago for a new water bore at his home in Tuart Hill.

He kept the quote and recently contacted us asking if the quote was still current. We attended on site to discuss where we would drill and cut in to  exsisting reticulation.

The ground conditions call for a 39 metre bore. Water bearing ground is around 27 metres deep and we will drill 12 metres into water.

We are going to drill a submersible water bore for this client in Balcatta. We have been drilling water bores for homes in Perth for nearly 20 years. To discuss a water bore for Balcatta call us on 9246 0111.

We will be drilling to 28 metres.  Modern submersible water bores operate silently and are not visible from the surface covered by a small rectangular plastic lid.

The client has an existing old style well with a tin lid.  We have done the service and repair on the old well for many years for this long time customer and it has finally given up the ghost. The old well was in the back yard so we will be taking down a panel of fencing so we can use the existing electrical to save the Balcatta customer money.

Water bore for Parkwood

We have a client in Parkwood who is getting a modern submersible water bore. They live opposite this beautiful park.

It is 3 metres to groundwater and there is 22.5 metres of water at their Parkwood home. We will drill 16 to 22 metres and use a good quality stainless steel submersible pump and motor.

The new submersible water bore will replace the old style well with a tin lid that he dug and sludge pumped over 30 years ago (pictured below) These shallow old style wells are commonly seen in Parkwood, Ferndale and Lynwood area. We will replace old style well with a new water bore which is not visible from the surface.

We will install 100 ml slotted casing to the bottom 6 metres of the bore. We will pack the slotted casing with drillers gravel to enhance water filtration. We will also air develop. This is particularly important as the area has uncertain ground conditions and potential clays. We have drilled a number of bores in the Parkwood area and surrounds.

We are going to be drilling at this property in Southern River. We have a lot of experience in the area and can be contacted on 9246 0111.

We have drilled a lot of water bores in the Southern River area and know the conditions well. The depth to water at this property in 4.3 metres and we would drill 18 to 20 metres into water.  The ground conditions in Southern River can vary with interspersed layers of clay which can inhibit ground water. For this reason we often allow extra slotted casing, extra gravel packing and extra air developing to help compensate.

We would use a good quality Italian stainless steel pump, a 1.1 kw motor coupled to a 12 stage wet end.

There are several elevated Perth suburbs require a deep submersible water bore.

One of those suburbs is Doubleview. For this Doubleview customer we drilled to 58 metres through mainly limestone and sand. The water bore is connected to existing reticulation and the electrical connections have already been done. In this case we are consolidating the client’s two existing controllers into one. This is because we have far more flow from the bore.  A small rectangular green plastic lid will be place over the hole and it will be covered in grass.

We have installed a 1.5 kw stainless-steel submersible pump which is delivering about 80 litres a minute.

Some other parts of the Perth metropolitan area that require deep submersible water bores are near the water tower in City Beach, the elevated parts of Kardinya and Sinagra near Wanneroo.

Water bore Cloverdale

 

We have installed a submersible pump in a 20 metre bore in the front yard of a new house being built in Cloverdale.

We installed a 1.1 kilowatt submersible pump and the owner will connect to a new reticulation system in their new Cloverdale home.

Hard to imagine that we have thousands of these pumps up to 70 metres below ground all around Perth.

This Cloverdale water bore will be under the driveway in this southern Perth suburb near the airport.

New Water Bore Rossmoyne

 

Watching this video you can see this new Rossmoyne Water bore is gushing with water and there is only a small pile of sand from the water bore drilling process for this 18 metre submersible water bore in Rossmoyne.

It was drilled  with the portable drilling rig in the Rossmoyne backyard because there was restricted access. Groundwater was encountered at only 4.5 metres down.

Here we see the bore being flushed as groundwater is forced to the surface by compressed air alone. At the same time the “mud tank” is being given a clean. It was used for the recirculating drilling fluids during rotary mud drilling.

We have drilled a number of submersible water bores in the new residential parts of Baldivis.

The depth to water in Baldivis is generally 5-10 metres so the completed submersible water bore could be between 18 and 24 metres.

There is a ridge in the area so bores can be as deep as 30 metres.

New Water Bore Nedlands

We have drilled a new submersible water bore in Nedlands to a depth of 22 metres. It is popular in the area to have a water bore to water gardens and lawns. The depth to water in the area is mid range and we would normally use a 1.1 KW submersible pump and motor.

There was no access at the front of this Nedlands property for our bigger water boring rigs so we gained access using a trailer mounted rig. We manoeuvred the rig off a narrow back lane using the trusty old Landcruiser.
